Odin_Design created a super complete profile page with beautiful design, boxes and sliders for easier access to all profile sections like: intro, images, unlocked badges, quests completions, posts and more!. You will also find other community pages, like news feed, complete profile settings, member and group categories and more!.

Completely Improved Profile Status Updates – Vikinger – BuddyPress and GamiPress Social Community!

Odin_Design has completely revamped the Buddypress status update box! Easily upload photos, GIFs. post status updates, edit your posts and even link Youtube videos just by pasting the URL!!

You’ll count with a bunch of status and activity updates (like when someone becomes your friend). You’ll also have the option to mark your posts as pinned, favorite, and private, all easily recognizable with our custom icons!

Express yourself with post-post reactions!

Because we know how important it is, we created a responsive BuddyPress plugin specifically for the Vikinger theme and with reactive illustrations designed by us!

You will get 8 different reactions: Like, Love, Dislike, Happy, Funny, Well, Angry and Sad. Odin_Design has fully integrated with BuddyPress so you can, not only react to profile posts, but also profile comments and replies!

Easily share posts with our share function

Odin_Design has created a new activity and sharing function so you can quickly share on your profile stream one of your friends’ activities!

If there is a post you like, just click the “Share” button at the bottom and a pop-up will open showing the selected post and a status update box to add your thoughts! If you want, you can even share your own posts! Feel free to add new information quickly or just bring back some old posts you want to talk about again!

Gamipress: Badge Gambling

Using the Gamipress Achievements feature, we’ve designed a badge system where you can unlock them and earn credits for unlocking record ratings! You can also proudly display them in your profile with the badge widget!

Odin_Design has included a PSD with lots of badge designs so you can have fun and also, the badges are made with PS vectors, so you can keep them any way you want or even Create new badges!

Gamipress: Quest Gambling

Using the Gamipress Achievements feature, we’ve also designed a quest system so you can complete them and earn credits for unlocking the ranks in the profile! Like badges, you can proudly display them on your profile with the quest widget!

Gamipress: Credit Gambling

Using the Gamipress Points feature, we generated three different credits: Gold, Gems and Emeralds. Use them to unlock new ranks and level up! You can proudly display them on your profile with the credit widget, and you can also always see your current balance on the top bar.

Odin_Design has included a PSD with three credits and they are all created with PS vectors, so you can preserve them however you want or even create new ones!

Gamipress: Gamification Ranking

Using the Gamipress Rank feature, we have created a 6 tier system where you can “level up” by collecting credits and completing requests! Odin_Design has also linked your rank and progress to your profile picture! You’ll be able to quickly see each user’s rating and progress through the external progress bar.

As with the others, we also included a PSD with 6 rank shields. They’re all created with PS vectors, so you can preserve them any way you want, or even create new ones!

Easily create and manage groups Buddypress! Inside the author center we have created a style management system so you can easily create and manage your groups, promote the author for mods or admins, check the lyrics invites and more!

This Theme has Integrated React Elements!

Please read the description below to understand a little more about what
this means!

Odin_Design used React to make some parts of the template more dynamic, allowing users to interact with these parts without having to wait for the page to reload, improving the user experience. For example, users can filter activities, add them to their favorites or pin it, react and comment on it, all without refreshing any page.

This also means that plugins or addons can work out of the box with the default WordPress, Buddypress or GamiPress, may not work without us adding support for them to our theme.

Child Theme
- Added additional constants and function checks in the parent theme to allow more constants and functions to be overridden in the child theme.

Twitch Integration
- Twitch video (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/{video_id}) and channel (https://www.twitch.tv/{channel_username}) links that users post on activities will now be converted into an embedded player that allows other users to directly watch the linked video or channel.
- A new "Stream" setting page has been added to the Customizer ("Vikinger Settings" -> "Stream") that allows to configure the new stream profile page, widget, account hub page and related functionalities. The following options have been added:
- Stream Profile - Status: you can choose to enable or disable Twitch profile functionality (disabling this will remove the profile activity widget, profile activity page and account hub settings page).
- Twitch Embeds - Parent Domain: In order to be able to use the Twitch Embedded Player (display twitch videos on any part of the site), Twitch requires that your site has a valid SSL certificate (HTTPS site) and that you specify the parent domain/s where the videos will be embedded (i.e.: "mysite.com"). Please enter your site domain/s in this option, you can enter multiple by separating them with a comma (,). You can check the requirements on this official Twitch post: https://discuss.dev.twitch.tv/t/twitch-embedded-player-updates-in-2020/23956
- When the "Stream Profile - Status" option is enabled, users will be able to display any Twitch stream in their profile by entering the respective Twitch channel username in the account hub "Stream" settings page. A new widget ("Stream Box") will display on each user timeline that will display that stream and a new profile page (stream) will show a larger version of the embedded player.
- Please remember to correctly configure the "Twitch Embeds - Parent Domain" and to have a valid SSL certificate on your site (HTTPS site), these are Twitch requirements and the player won't function correctly if you don't follow them.

Fixes
- Fixed several warnings and errors that would occur when different plugin combinations where active.
- Any combination of supported / included plugins can now be used (as long as the plugins they depend on are installed and active, i.e. "Verified Member for BuddyPress" won't work if "BuddyPress" is not installed and active).
- Fixed the "Login Page - Text" content being double filtered, which prevented the use of

Header
- The header search dropdown is now hidden on mobile and a new icon has been added (magnifying glass) that users can click to display it.

Force Login
- The force login theme feature has been improved by replacing the page redirect and page exceptions options with URLs. This gives site admins more control over which pages can be made accessible when the Force Login option is enabled.
- WordPress register page and BuddyPress register and activation pages are now always accessible, even when the force login option is enabled. If you use the Paid Memberships Pro plugin memberships page as register page instead, please remember to add it as an exception to allow users to access it.
