What is the purpose of this?

Assume you operate an online store that sells custom printed t-shirts, with each print presented as a separate product. Isn’t it simple enough?

Not quite… There’s no way to keep track of the overall amount of blank t-shirts you have in stock between each of your goods because WooCommerce can only track stock at the product level.

Even if you only have one t-shirt left in stock, your stock levels would quickly become out of sync, and your consumers would be able to purchase 10 different prints!

You can easily share stock between any number of goods or variations with WooCommerce Attribute Stock. This is accomplished by managing stock based on product attributes, resulting in a system that is incredibly adaptable while being familiar and simple to operate.
